Wow! Where did those 4 years go! It seem like yesterday that we packed the car and headed to Tally to bring our oldest daughter to college. Now she has graduated Magna Cum Laude no less- brag brag brag...
and returned safely to the nest. But... with a job! YEA!
This weekend we clebrated with family and great friends her college career at FSU as well as her boyfriend's from UF. What a beautiful tribute! Complete with accomplishment "shrines" and videos of their college friends etc. The food was great. We had a serve yourself "bowl" concept. We made our own cooler out of a baby pool filled with ice to keep thing cold on a HOT day.
Grab your bowl add the toppings.. rice, beans, corn, salsa, steak, chicken, gucamole, cilantro, lettuce, spinach, etc. Finish it off with spicy salsa, teriyaki, or peanut sauce. Yum! Everyone loved the twist on the old BBQ.. Appetizers of baked brie, hummus, and artichoke dip. Desserts- cute "caps" made of mini reese peanut butter cups, fudge cookie
rectangle, m&m... and icing. Too cute. It brought back memeoires as I made these for the kids for their kindergarden graduation.( just yesterday!) Banana pudding and Texas sheet cake. Bon Appetite!
pieces with pots, picture pics, and silk flowers. Use fabric swatches for table centers or t-shirts for school,
monopoly game boards, etc... Get creative.. Note the tubs for the silverware- used plastic silverware rolled and tied! I had a blast!
How proud and blessed we are! Two beautiful graduates and many doors opening.
Making Beautiful Memories!
Enjoy the Journey!
